Terri Murray

Terri Murray, executive director, joined Neighborhood Renaissance, Inc. in 1999. She is an accomplished community development professional with over twenty years experience in mixed-income, mixed-use and affordable housing development. She has designed, implemented and administered various homeownership assistance, housing rehabilitation, new construction, small business assistance, workforce development, and property management programs. She has worked effectively in the for-profit, non-profit and local government arenas. Ms. Murray holds a Masters in Urban Affairs in Housing and Community Development from Boston University.

Michael Pecar

Michael Pecar, real estate development director, managed the development process for all property types for over thirty years and oversaw the substantial renovation of seventy scattered site homes acquired through NSP 2 and the construction of new single-family homes in the Westgate CRA. Prior to joining Neighborhood Renaissance, he worked for world-class development firms such as Melvin Simon Associates (now Simon Development Corporation), The Irvine Company, The O’Connor Group, Trizec-Hahn and the Pritzker family. He also served as an Investment Manager for New Boston Fund, a private equity firm. He holds a Masters of Management degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Lashea Brooks

S. Lashea Brooks, housing manager, coordinated the acquisition of fifty-five foreclosed single and multi-family properties through the NSP 2 Residential Redevelopment Program. Working with the property manager she oversees marketing, sales, tenant selection and program income certification.  She manages the agency’s housing counseling and homebuyer assistance programs.  Her experience spans over twenty-five years and includes retail banking, mortgage lending, and property acquisition.  Ms. Brooks is a native Floridian who grew up in Palm Beach County and graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Mark Karageorge

Mark Karageorgerecently joined the Neighborhood Renaissance as a property manager with over ten years of property management experience.  He worked for Graystar Management Services as a Community Manager for over 300 units.  Prior to his work with Graystar, he was an Assistant Property Manager for Olen Properties and Trammell Crow Residential Services. He has been certified as an Apartment Manager through the Southeast Florida Apartment Association since 2003 and is a licensed Community Association Manager.

Jenny Bretz

Jenny Bretz, office administrator earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the Federico Villarreal University Lima, Peru. She has ten years of accounting experience working within the construction and property management field. Mrs. Bretz joined Neighborhood Renaissance in December 2011. Her responsibilities include all internal bookkeeping/accounting and the general office operations.

Stefania Palacios

Stefania Palacios, program & administrative assistant, earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from San Diego State University,CA and has over six years of experience in general Human Resources. She served in the United States Air Force as a Personnel Journeyman. After military service, she worked for ConAm Management Corporation as an assistant manager for over 1,100 apartment units and for Spears Manufacturing Company as a Benefits Specialist with an employee count of over 1900. She is bilingual; fluent in English and Spanish. Miss Palacios officially joined Neighborhood Renaissance in January 2013.
