The Village of Wellington has partnered with Neighborhood Renaissance to provide workforce housing for ownership. This initiative was developed to stabilize targeted areas in Wellington that have been impacted by the foreclosure crisis. Funding for these efforts is provided through Palm Beach County’s Neighborhood Stabilization Program.

The Village of Wellington’s Neighborhood Stabilization Program provides two avenues to homeownership for working families and young professionals as well as affordable homes for its seniors. The Village will be acquiring homes that following the completion of any necessary rehabilitation will be available for immediate purchase by eligible first-time homebuyers. All potential homebuyers will receive individualized housing counseling to help them through the entire purchase process. Households not ready to purchase immediately due to a lack of savings or credit issues will have the opportunity to rent their home from Neighborhood Renaissance with an annual renewable lease-with-option to purchase. Ongoing case management will be provided by Neighborhood Renaissance to families participating in the Lease-to-Purchase program to help them address their obstacles to becoming a homeowner.

Neighborhood and Home Features:

Master suite
Central air conditioning
Kitchen appliances
Landscaped yard
Energy efficient upgrades
Central location near major highways and the Turnpike
Quality public schools

To learn more about how you can take advantage of these housing opportunities call Christina Hewitt, Housing Manager, at (561) 832-6776, extension 104.
